Audrey Tautou
Audrey Tautou born Beaumont, the French city of Puy-deDomme on August 9, 1976. She is the oldest child in a family of four. Her parents, who were a dentist and teacher in a school, supported and encouraged her passion for acting and theater. The initial goal of her to be a monkey expert was replaced by a desire to learn about drama and theater. A quick and successful start to success as well as a swift increase in recognition marked her as a young actor. Prior to beginning the acting profession, Tautou participated in Jeunes Premiers a French show on TV that focuses on talent which was a part of Canal+ in 1998. The program also awarded her the title of the title of Best Young Actress at during the Beziers Festival of Young Actors. Although she studied at the Institut Catholique de Paris and was a member of the church during her childhood, Tautou has distanced herself from this upbringing, stating that she's not Catholic. Apart from her acting profession, she has was also interested in modelling. The model was of L'Oreal Mont Blanc, Chanel and was dubbed "The Chanel Muse". In addition to her acting profession she is also interested in photography. Recently, she exhibited a selection of her photographs during the Arles Film Festival under the name Superficial. Through her photography, she is mainly focused on celebrities and the spotlight. The camera's focus is towards journalists who scrutinized her as she rose to the heights of fame in Amelie. Audrey Tautou's global popularity and success exploded following her performance as Amelie Poulain's leading actress in the film Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amelie Poulain. Amelie gained international attention because of its box-office success. The film was also recognized during awards ceremonies around the world. The film is still the most successful French language movie on the market in US. After this film, Tautou appeared in numerous films ranging from British dramas up to Jean Pierre Jeunet's long Sunday de Faancailles. She then moved to Hollywood and appeared alongside Tom Hanks alongside Ron Howard in The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown.
